Can Logic Pro X Drummer be used to control the drum kits in Superior Drummer 2.0?ħ. Superior for all the reasons I've laid out above, though honestly, I use EZD2 most of the time.Ħ. Only the built in Sonalksis plugins that come with Superior. Or can you only use the plugins for processing the drums that come with SD 2.0? Can you use AU or Logic plugins in the Superior Drummer Mixer? Logic's Drummer sounds are not bad, but I also agree it's scratchpad quality.ģ. Which has better drum samples and sounds? Hopefully they'll add the search function to Superior at some point.Ģ. It's a good idea to get both EZD2 and Superior. EZdrummer 2's search function is actually incredible for finding what you want. Toontrack's MIDI library is insanely useful. And that drummer will play what it think is appropriate, but you get very little input into the final result. Logic is kind of like having a drummer there.
